Go360 Incident Command System

Taking action before an event occurs is the best response.

There are no widely accepted incident response standards, and there are many definitions of “incident response.” In essence, these definitions all express the same idea: incident response is the set of actions taken once an adverse event has occurred that affects a company's assets or its network.

Although it is possible to recover from an incident, without up-front planning it is much more difficult. Many critical pieces are probably not in place, including notification lists, log files, etc.

It is important that an incident response plan is formulated, supported throughout the organization, put into action and regularly tested. A good incident response plan may minimize the effects of a breach. Furthermore, it may even reduce the negative publicity and focus attention on quick reaction time.

Data storage of critical information is accessible through the Go360 Incident Command portal for distribution to attending agencies.
